First Tool in MEL/Python!
After completing a CGWorkshops class in scripting and tool development, I have gained the skills to write my own scripts that will help speed up my workflows in modeling and rigging. After coming across Akin Bilgic's accurate displacement workflow; http://www.cggallery.com/tutorials/displacement/ I found his method for setting the displacement attributes seem to work the best when converting the zbrush sculpt to maya and vrays displacement shader. However, I didnt want to go through the tedious process of adding the right settings for every geometry object in my scene that needed displacement attributes added to them. So this UI will add all the nessesary attrubutes to each selected object, as well as add a vray shader with the displament node that allows the user to select the .exr file and attach the shader to the object. ...
